Editorial services
Whatever the type of document, editing brings out the best in it,
so that your words accurately convey your message.
We can completely rewrite your work or simply edit your existing
documents to make them more effective in achieving your objectives.
Structural editing: ensures appropriate structure, content, language,
and style are present for your market. Structural editing assesses
the document's integrity and whether additional material needs to
be included, such as illustrations, glossary, index, cross-referencing,
or tables. This is the point at which any major rewriting or rewording
is done.
Copy editing: tidies up discrepancies and looks at grammar, use
of language, spelling, punctuation, style, clarity of expression and
cross-references within the text.
Proofreading: this is the important final stage in the editing process
and entails more than just running your manuscript through a computer
spellchecker! It ensures every aspect of the text is in order including
spelling, and punctuation. It also checks consistency across chapter
headings, page numbers, contents listing, and running heads.
Writing services
Longueville provides copywriting services for communication material
such as brochures, flyers, press releases, and website content. We
also provide writing services for longer in-depth documents such
as company histories.
Depending on your requirements, we can also carry out research,
interviews, archiving, and ghost writing.

Graphic design & desktop publishing
Communicating your message through
fresh clear designs is critical to the success of your project and
your business. There are countless philosophies of design, but at
Longueville design means communicating messages clearly, succinctly
and attractively, while taking into account the form and function
of the final piece of work and - most importantly - its
audience.
We identify the exact purpose of your project by developing a design
brief with you. Our mission is then to provide a fresh perspective
that results in graphic design that fulfils your goals.
Print production
Longueville manages the whole production process from start to finish.
Our unique Seven-Step Process, that incorporates internationally-recognised
principles of project management, ensures that all clients receive
a consistent, professional service, and that services are delivered
to time and to budget.
Website Production
Longueville’s background in editorial and design means that we
see a website as a vehicle for your writing and other content. As such
we work with a team of specialised website designers to deliver high quality
content with simple and clean functionality.
Please contact David Longfield or Lucie Stevens on 02
